The my last July 2017 Fossil of the Month is a GEM 4-11/16" Megalodon - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. Fantastic colors - gray enamel and a jet black bourlette. A very rare Glyphis glyphis tooth, the Speartooth shark, from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth.
