This vertebara is a septate design and resembles a vertebra from the Isurus hastalis (Mako) shark. These vertebrae are rarely found and exceptional specimens are extremely difficult to obtain. An ULTRA Rare, TOP QUALITY Parotodus benedeni, the False Mako, tooth from Sharktooth Hill, near Bakersfield, California. This tooth has an excellent tan colored enamel and a very massive root.
