A rare, Top Quality Classic Red Site Carcharocles megalodon from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Meg is an incredible upper jaw anterior tooth. An April Fossil of the Month. NC002 has an incredibly rich copper-red color. Fantastic color! The enamel is the highest quality with exceptional gloss. The serrations are large and 100% complete with a perfect tip. A High Quality, Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - lower jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. This Megalodon has a nice tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. The bourlette is excellent and near complete. The serrations are sharp, but the tip was lost in a feeding frenzy. The root is an excellent tan color with few hydration cracks and absolutely complete with cool groove on the root lobes.
