A Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian - Two Medicine Fm.) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. A May Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 1-13/16" -  an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. Anterior and posterior serrations are excellent. Serrated to the tip with a small wear facet on tip. Base is large and round. No crack, repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Two Medicine Fm., Glacier Co., Montana. This is an excellent Daspletosaurus tooth based on size and roundness of the tooth cross-section. A High Quality Ultra Rare Alopias palatasi shark tooth, the extinct serrated Giant Thresher shark from the Meherrin River copper red site in No. Carolina. An August 2020 Fossil of the Month offering. An EXTRA LARGE, rare TOP QUALITY, Great White shark transition tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli. An upper jaw anterior tooth on its original phosphorite matrix. This C. hubbelli tooth has medium to small serrations at the base of the cutting edge that disappear towards the tip. This tooth has an excellent tan colored crown and tan root. Fantastic color!  No repair or restoration.
