A rare Top Quality, transition GW tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli. An upper jaw anterior tooth. The C. hubbelli serrations are full at the base of the cutting edge, transition to fine serrations at mid crown and disappear towards the tip. This tooth has an excellent tan colored crown and brown root with well pronounced maroon colored gum line. Excellent color. The crown edge starts with two oversized serrations at the base and quickly transforms into "Escheri-like" wavy serrations. An early stage transition form. No repair. A well preserved, rare Scyphocrinites elegans crinoid holdfast from Morocco. The crinoid stem attached to these floating holdfasts. The Scyphocrinites crinoids were floating crinoids and their holdfast was actually an air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx. This holdfast is bulbous with a fantastic detail. A peg stand is included as in the photos. These crinoid holdfasts make excellent fantastic display pieces.
