An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (lower anterior jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown and a tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.

A MASSIVE Auriculatus tooth. Anterior tooth. Enamel quality is quite good with an extra large bourlette. Serrations are very sharp. The tip area was broke during feeding and is worn smooth. An ultra rare, Top Quality Ankylosaurus magniventris rooted tooth from the late Cretaceous of North America.
