An ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Carcharocles megalodon posterior tooth from the James River, Virginia. A nice light copper color. Great color! The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are sharp and complete with a tip serration. Bourlette is dark brown and complete. The root is complete. Definitely a Miocene Meg with serration bumps at base. Note - you rarely see a copper red colored Megalodon tooth that has a top quality crown and serrations and a complete root. A rare, TOP QUALITY BIG "Georgia RED" Megalodon tooth from the Miocene - an upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth. A December Fossil 2019 of the Month. The enamel is the Highest Quality with a few, fine hydration cracks. The crown is a fantastic mix of red & brown color - very nice. An excellent, dark brown colored bourlette which is nearly complete. Razor sharp serrations including an excellent tip serration. An ULTRA RARE, Top Quality 6-1/16" Caribbean Megalodon tooth - a upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. An October Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible very light tan colored crown with charcoal and red-brown highlights. Highest quality enamel with very small hydration cracks. The bourlette is white colored and complete. The Caribbean Megalodon teeth consistently offer the closest to white colored enamel. Fantastic color! The serrations are razor sharp and complete. Excellent serrations overall. The root is a golden tan color, has no hydration cracks, and iscomplete. Note - this tooth has 1/2" of professional restoration of a saw cut  located 5/8" below the tip on the right side (typical for these teeth). Otherwise a perfect tooth. Great symmetry. This Megalodon was found in a commercial limestone quarry in the Caribbean (Miocene age). This is an incredibly colored Caribbean Megalodon tooth.
