A Top Quality Ptychodus anonymus, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Johnson Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Arcadia Park Fm. tooth. An Ultra Rare, Top Quality Bird Feather & Mosquito Larvae leaf from the Green River Fm., Douglas Pass, Garfield Co., Colorado. An August Fossil of the Month. A TOP QUALITY Arcophoca longirostris seal jaw from the Bahia Inglesa Fm., Copiapo, Chile. An August Fossil of the Month. Arcophoca is a late Miocene age seal. This jaw (mandible) is complete with a perfect canine and 4 molars. There are multiple cracks in the jaw that were glued / stabilized without filler. Great preservation and color.
