A very rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth. This first maxillary tooth measures 2-1/4". The enamel has excellent color and patina. Worn anterior and excellent posterior serrations. Base cross-section is a tall oval. One crack. No restoration. A top quality tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. A very rare Glyphis glyphis tooth, the Speartooth shark, from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. D177 is an excellent upper jaw anterior tooth. Note - "spear-like" crown development. My best upper jaw tooth! Authenticity guaranteed.
