An ultra rare Mosasaur matrix piece with two Top Quality Mosasaurus (Prognathodon) anceps teeth with their original roots. Another May 2018 Fossil of the Month selection. A GEM Chubutensis tooth from the Miocene of Georgia. A Gray and Tan colored Chub tooth with a root beer colored bourlette and a brown root. An EXTRA LARGE, rare Top Quality Camarasaurus tooth, a late Jurassic sauropod tooth from the Morrison Fm. A September Fossil of the Month. Camarasaurus had robust spoon shaped teeth to tear tough vegetation. This tooth is complete with incredible surfaces. The enamel is highest quality. Great rich black color. Exceptional enamel articulation. There was a small repair at the base of the root only. No repair or restoration to the crown. A Top Quality Triceratops horridus rib bone section from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for three horns and the large frill protecting its neck. This is an excellent rib bone section with good detail preserved. No repair or restoration. 100% natural specimen. Legally collected on private land in Harding Co., So. Dakota. An Ultra Rare nicely prepared, Struveapis sp. trilobite. A new phacopid trilobite with diagnostic characteristics including schizochroal eyes with fewer facets, a broader cephalon, and a smoother exoskeleton. An excellent specimen with good detail and completeness. The preparation is German directed with all original colors and no restoration. Great natural black with good luster. Oneecompound eye is exceptionally preserved. An ULTRA RARE, TOP QUALITY white colored Carcharocles chubutensis tooth - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth from Calvert Cliffs, Maryland. A November Fossil of the Month. This Chubutensis tooth is esentially perfect. The enamel is highest quality with no peel. The white bourlette is 100% complete. The serrations are awesome and complete with slight damage to one. Side cusps are perfect. The root has cool grooves on the root ends and has a small chip on the reverse side. An early Miocene, Calvert Formation tooth. NO repair or restoration. A Top Quality , 5" ULTRA RARE Caribbean Megalodon tooth - a lower jaw ANTERIOR tooth. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible very light creamy tan colored crown with interesting light charcoal gray patterning. Highest quality enamel with no hydration cracks. The Caribbean Megalodon teeth consistently offer the closest to white colored enamel. Fantastic color! The bourlette is large and essentially perfect. The serrations are razor sharp including a worn tip serration. Excellent serrations! The root is an excellent creamy tan color with no hydration cracks.Great symmetry. Note - there was a 1/4" strip of the serrations on the left side of the tooth saw cut near the base and it was professionally restored. The damaged area was restricted to the edge and a piece of bourlette. This Megalodon was found in a limestone quarry in the Caribbean (Miocene age). This is an incredible Caribbean Meg tooth. A fine example of an ultra rare Caribbean Megalodon tooth, and an excellent collector's rare Megalodon tooth! Note - The limestone is sawed into thin blocks for extraction which totally destroys 99%+ of these Megalodon teeth.
