A Top Quality Otodus sokolovi tooth from Harleyville, So. Carolina. Otodus sokolovi is the ancestor of O. auriculatus. An excellent lateral tooth. An excellent gray colored crown with a brown colored bourlette, and a light tan colored root. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color & preservation. The serrations are large and razor sharp including the tip. Two large side cusps. The root is complete and very well preserved. Note - there is an unusual iron oxide coating on this tooth. An ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Carcharocles megalodon posterior tooth from the Pamunkey River, Virginia. A fantastic copper-red color. Great color! The enamel is the highest quality with hydration cracks. The serrations are sharp and complete with a great tip serration. Bourlette is dark brown and mostly dentin layer. The root is complete. Definitely a Miocene Meg with serration bumps at base. Note - you rarely see a copper red colored Megalodon tooth that has a top quality crown and serrations and a complete root. An ULTRA RARE Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth from a large adult T. rex. An April Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 4-3/4" (straight line) or 5" (on curve) and 1-5/8" wide. The enamel is the high quality. Great brown & black color. A massive extra wide tooth. You can see why this bone crusher is referred to as a "banana tooth". Overall the tooth is excellent quality with crack fill. This is a real 5" tooth. Note - this tooth was found in the spring of 2021 and it was exposed to the winter freeze and thaw cycle which cracked the tooth in to pieces. This tooth was professionally prepared and put back together with missing area filled in.
