An ultra rare, 5-5/8" GEM, Deep Red North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon, an upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. This incredibly rare tooth is our February Fossil of the Month. An EXTRA LARGE, pyrite replaced Paraspirifer bownockeri brachiopod from the Silica Shale Fm., Sylvania, Ohio. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs, and this is a big one. Both valves present  - complete specimen and matrix free. Note -  1-1/2" thick and heavy! This is a Devonian (395 mya) brachiopod. The big Silica Fm. brachiopod. A rare Carcharhinus limbatus tooth, the Blacktip shark, from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. A MASSIVE Auriculatus tooth. Anterior tooth. Enamel quality is quite good with an extra large bourlette. Serrations are very sharp. The tip area was broke during feeding and is worn smooth. This shark was eating some tough whales. The root is massive (>1-1/4" thick). Typical commercial grade tooth.

A TOP QUALITY, 3-3/4" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible blue - tan colored crown with an excellent two tone bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional color! The bourlette is excellent and near perfect. The serrations are razor sharp with a good tip serration (small nick). Super serrations - razor sharp! The root is an excellent light tan color with no hydration cracks and absolutely complete. A rare,Top Quality Suwanee Auriculatus tooth from northern Florida. An exceptional upper jaw lateral tooth. Gorgeous tan colored crown with a brown colored bourlette, and brown root.
