A rare, LARGE Top Quality Cave Lion canine tooth (Panthera spelaea) from Yakutia Region, Siberia. A March Fossil of the Month. Complete tooth with a small natural wear facet on the tip. A very rare shark skin specimen. This matrix piece is covered with dermal denticals. Shark skin impressions with denticals are extremely rare and a Paleozoic age find adds to the rarity. An exceptional collector's piece from an old collection!
