A TOP QUALITY Chubutensis tooth from Peru - an upper jaw tooth. Another February Fossil of the Month. An incredible tan and red colored crown with no peel. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic extra large side cusps. Extra large and sharp serrations are incredible including a good tip serration. The bourlette is a light tan color and 100% complete. Extra wide. The root is excellent brown color, nicely articulated, and nearly complete The only challenge with this tooth is some minor root repair at the very base of the root (see black colored area). An incredibly colored, extra large Peruvian Chubutensis tooth! You won't see any more like this Chub. A Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian - Two Medicine Fm.) in northern North America. This tooth measures 1-5/8" -  an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. Anterior and posterior serrations are excellent. Serrated to the tip with a small wear facet on tip and the side. No crack, repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Two Medicine Fm., Glacier Co., Montana. This is an excellent Daspletosaurus or Gorgosaurus tooth based on size and roundness of the tooth cross-section. Authenticity guaranteed. An excellent collector's tooth. Note - the only Tyrannosaurs in the Two Medicine Fm. are Daspletosaurus or Gorgosaurus. A Riker display frame is included.
