An incredible TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE Megalodon upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth from So. Carolina. A March Fossil of the Month (FOTM).  A fantastic Charcoal Gray and Black colored crown. A Top Quality BLUE petrified limb section from Java, Indonesia. This petrified wood is Pliocene age (3 MYA). A natural fossil wood section that is covered with light blue (crystaline opal?) mineral. It appears to be from one of the secret Indonesian blue opal sites, but this limb had no cavities for the opal to form. Limb section length is 8-1/2" and makes a good display with a fantastic blue color. This piece exhibits good preservation and color. Authenticity guaranteed. The PERFECT, very rare Parotodus benedeni tooth. An April 2019 Fossil of the Month. Lateral tooth. The crown has extremely sharp cutting edges. Exceptional light tan & blue color and preservation. An incredible wide bourlette. The root is ~5/8" thick and shows few small hydration cracks! Note- grooves on the sides of the root lobes - a Miocene tooth trait. One of the finest LC lateral Parotodus teeth that I have seen. This incredible Parotodus was found in the Pungo River Formation (Miocene age).
