A LARGE, TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Suwanee River, Suwanee Co., Florida. An excellent molar or premolar tooth (see photo for tooth positions).  An excellent brown colored crown and root. Nicely articulated. Note - enamel tip shows a wear pattern on crown. Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. "The Color Collection - North of the River"  A TOP QUALITY, Carcharodon (Isurus) hastalis tooth with an excellent mix of brown colors from the Sharktooth Hill area, Bakersfield, California. The root is very well preserved. Very clean crown. Excellent overall preservation. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. Note - my last three teeth from a new site on private property that no longer allows collecting. These teeth have unique dark brown crowns and very white roots.
