This Megalodon has a Black draped over Silver gray colored crown with a dark brown & black colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color!  The bourlette is large & complete. A Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian - Two Medicine Fm.) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. A May Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 1-13/16" -  an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. Anterior and posterior serrations are excellent. Serrated to the tip with a small wear facet on tip. Base is large and round. No crack, repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Two Medicine Fm., Glacier Co., Montana. This is an excellent Daspletosaurus tooth based on size and roundness of the tooth cross-section. An ULTRA RARE,  Top Quality 6-1/8" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth, an upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth from Aurora, No. Carolina. A July Fossil of the Month selection. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible light tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel with essentially no hydration cracks - rare for a big Meg tooth! Exceptional color. The serrations are large and razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. Fantastic serrations for a BIG Meg!
