A LARGE,  Top Quality Elosuchus(?) crocodile scute from the Kem Kem region of Morocco. Note - This is a center ridge scute with a raised center line. Incredible detail and color. This is a complete scute ("body armor") which is most likely from the dominate crocodile for the region - Elosuchus. The crocodile scute is Mid Cretaceous epoch, Cenomanian stage (96 million years ago). No repair or restoration. An exceptional collector's scute. Authenticity guaranteed. A rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Heterodontus dorsal spine - the Horn shark from the Sharktooth Hill area, near Bakersfield, California. This big spine specimen is still attached to its original Round Mountain silt matrix with a 2-1/4" whale ear bone. These Heterodontus spines only occasionally fossilize and they are quite rare. An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY, Carcharodon (Isurus) hastalis tooth with an excellent tan color from the Sharktooth Hill area, Bakersfield, California. A February Fossil of the Month. This tooth is nicely displayed on its original Round Mountain silt matrix with three whale bones. The root is very well preserved with a brown color. Very clean crown. A rare Top Quality Globidens aegypticus Mosasaur tooth from the phosphate mining area near Amman, Jordan. Excellent condition and preservation. No repair or restoration.
