A rare Top Quality Triceratops horridus occipital condyle from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and the large frill protecting its neck. This is a beautiful 3-3/4" occipital condyle with excellent detail preserved. This large codyle has fantastic color and patina plus a large section of braincase is attached. Note - The occipital condyle was the connection point of the Triceratops massive skull to the vertebrae column, and it allowed for maximum rotation of the head. No repair or restoration. There is a small amount of repair at the base. Legally collected on private land in Powder River Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. Note - this specimen weighs 2.5 lbs. A rare, TOP QUALITY Triceratops horridus hoof core (pes claw) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This adult hoof core has exceptional detail preserved and excellent color & patina. Note - Triceratops hoof cores are generally smaller than Hadrosaur, have a very rugous surface, have a characteristeristic "shallow ledge" on the under side, have less height than Hadrosaur, and are much more difficult to find. This hoof core has  the correct features is is incredibly preserved. Legally collected on private land in Carter Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. True Triceratops hoof cores are very difficult to locate, and this is a unique example!

The surface quality is exceptional with no pitting, nicks or wear! Great white patina. Fully inflated. The articulated end is complete. No crack fill. No restoration. An exceptional quality, collector's claw. Authenticity guaranteed. I do not see fine quality Spinosaurus claws very often and this isa good one. This is what a real Spinosaurus claw looks like. A rare, Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. Another June 2018 Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An exceptional manus claw. Highest quality rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible perservation with exceptional surfaces - no pitting, nicks or wear - superb surface articulation! There is some professional restoration which is typical for a big Anzu wyliei manus claw. The tip has a small section repaired and the proximal edge has a small triangular area repaired which starts at the center of proximal surface (see photo). A rare, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens finger from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The finger includes two carpals and a manus claw. Edmontosaurus was mainly bipedal, but could walk on all four legs in search of food. As noted by the front leg size difference, Edmontosaurus could put little weight on them. Excellent bone quality. Minor crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Harding Co., So. Dakota.
