A  "Picture", Carcharodon hastalis, the Broad-tooth Mako shark tooth from So.Carolina. Previously referred to as Isurus hastalis, but renamed to Carcharodon hastalis as a Great White shark ancestor. Highest quality enamel. A Top Quality, Extra Large rare transition GW tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli. An upper jaw anterior tooth. Another December 2017 Fossil of the Month. The C. hubbelli serrations are full at the base of the cutting edge, transition to fine serrations at mid crown and disappear towards the tip. This tooth has an excellent blue colored crown ("blue site"), brown root, and a vivid dark maroon "gum line". Excellent color. No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. An exceptional GW transition form!  It will be extremely difficult to locate another large, top quality Carcharodon hubbelli since the few that exist are buried in collections.

A "Flying" TOP QUALITY Walliserops trifurcatus trilobite, the "trident Comura".  A November Fossil of the Month and one of the collector's favorite spiny trilobites. Walliserops trifurcatus is an unusual looking species with three rows of of spines run down its back and a trident-like fork extending from the front of the cephalon. The preparation is German controlled with all original colors and no restoration. Exceptional completeness and preservation. Great natural black shell with excellent luster. The bottom of this trilobite has been cleaned out and it sits on an 1" matrix pedestal. A very difficult species to prepare. Excellent shell and spine preservation. Compound eyes are very good. A Top Quality Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis maxillary tooth from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by spikes. The enamel is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. Typical wear faucet from grinding on opposing teeth. An ultra rare Top Quality Stegoceras validum dome (frontoparietal skull bone) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An April Fossil of the Month. Stegoceras is a smaller sized pachycephalosaurid dinosaur, and like Pachycephalosaurus, it is a dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by spikes. This is excellent quality juvenile dome with good color / patina. No cracks or restoration. There is a small sheer on the left side that occured prior to fossilization since it has the natural patina. Otherwise a complete dome. An ultra rare Stegoceras dome!  Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Hill Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Stegoceras dome. Comes with a Riker display case. Authenticity guaranteed. You don't see Stegoceras domes very often. This is a very special, prefect little dome!  (Photo series = top, bottom, right side, left side, and rear).
