Colorful Jurassic "gem" dinosaur bone from the Morrison Fm., Moffat Co., Colorado. Silica (agate) replaced sauropod dinosaur limb or vertebra bone. The bone pore structure is well perserved and gives the bone a wonderful natural "textured" look with different colorization. An excellent split crown Otodus. A very difficult pathology to locate.

A GEM Otodus with a severely distorted cutting edge - what I refer to as the "acid" effect. The entire top of the crown is split into multiple cusps that are melting away -  a very unusual pathology. Incredible color and preservation. Museum quality.Perfect tooth.
