A very rare Isurus praecursor dentition. There are 60 teeth total (26 uppers and 24 lowers). Teeth range from 1-9/16" to 1". All teeth are top quality or near top quality condition. The dentition is approximately 16" wide and 12" tall. Great color and excellent condition. Very attractive. Individual tooth cost is less than $20 - cheap! You will not see a set of teeth from Isurus praecursor very often.

A TOP QUALITY, Lee Creek Otodus chubutensis, a O. megalodon predecessor, from Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth was found in the Pungo River Formation (middle Miocene age). Note the crown exhibits cusplike bumps at the base of the serrated edge and the root ends also show grooves where the teeth interlocked. These are characteristic traits of the Lee Creek early Meg - Otodus chubutensis. A gorgeous BLUE & tan colored crown with a brown bourlette. Great serrations. The root is brown colored and complete. A Top Quality BLACK Megalodon tooth from Georgia. The crown has an excellent black color. The enamel is the Highest Quality with small hydration cracks and very glossy. An excellent BLACK colored bourlette which is 60% complete. Razor sharp serrations including a slightly damaged tip serration. The root is a tan color with a typical hydration crack. Excellent color.
