A Rare, "Flying" Minicryphaeus giganteus trilobite. Another November Fossil of the Month. The specimen has been expertly prepared to make it completely free standing in a flying position. A GEM, 4-7/8"+" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. This Meg has an incredible light tan and blue colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel - complete! Exceptional color! The bourlette is excellent and complete! The serrations are large and razor sharp - perfect. An excellent tip serration. Exceptional serrations for a big Meg! The root is an excellent tan color and absolutely complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 15 MYA). This tooth is from an old collection. One of the finest examples of a classic upper jaw anterior Lee Creek Megs considering the shape, color, and preservation. An exceptional collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! NO repair! The BEST of the BEST! One of my favorites. It will be difficult to find another Meg like this one.

A rare Carcharhinus macloti tooth, the Hardnose shark, from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. A Top Quality Schinoxylon sp., a petrified limb section, from Blue Forest, Wyoming. This petrified wood is from the Green River Fm and is Eocene age (50 MYA). An EXTRA LARGE, pyrite replaced Paraspirifer bownockeri brachiopod from the Silica Shale Fm., Sylvania, Ohio. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs, and this is a big one. Both valves present  - complete specimen and matrix free. Note -  1-1/2" thick and heavy! This is a Devonian (395 mya) brachiopod. The big Silica Fm. brachiopod.
