A Very Scarce, Quality Carcharodon (Isurus) hastalis tooth -  an upper jaw lateral Mako tooth from the Dakhla area, Western Sahara, Morocco. Check out the serrations within the enamel wrinkle. An EXTRA LARGE, Paraspirifer bownockeri brachiopod from the Silica Shale Fm., Sylvania, Ohio. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs, and this is a big one. Both valves present  - complete specimen and matrix free. Note -  1-1/4" thick and heavy! This is a Devonian (395 mya) brachiopod. The big Silica Fm. brachiopod. A Top Quality Auriculatus tooth from Harleyville, So. Carolina. An excellent lateral tooth. A great tan colored crown with a brown colored bourlette, and a tan colored root. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color & preservation. The serrations are large and razor sharp. Two excellent large side cusps. The root is complete and very well preserved.
