A rare, Top Quality Classic Red Site Carcharocles megalodon from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Meg is an incredible upper jaw anterior tooth. An April Fossil of the Month. NC002 has an incredibly rich copper-red color. Fantastic color! The enamel is the highest quality with exceptional gloss. The serrations are large and 100% complete with a perfect tip. The bourlette is black colored, large and near complete. The serrations are worn, but are clearly visible includung the tip. The root is black, extra wide, and complete with typical hydration cracks.
