A rare, ~3" GEM Great White transition shark tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli, from Chile. The C. hubbelli is an evolutionary transition from the non-serrated big-tooth Mako shark to the fully serrated Great White shark which takes place in the late Miocene period. A FANTASTIC, EXTRA LARGE GW Transition tooth. The BEST of the BEST!

A GEM BLACK & BROWN colored Megalodon - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. An exceptional black and brown crown on the display side and mottled black and brown reverse. Cool colors! Highest quality enamel. The large brown bourlette is complete. Razor sharp serrations and tip. The serrations are essentially complete with damage to one - rare for a bigger Meg! The root has no hydration cracks and is complete. A Pathologic, Top Quality Chilean Hexanchus griseus tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This is an upper jaw tooth with three primary cusps, but it should have had 5 cusps. Two cusp did not form. Excellent preservation and fantastic color. Perfect cusps. These tooth was found in the Bahia Inglesa Fm. and is late Miocene to early Pliocene age. A scarce collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no more teeth coming from this site. This rare piece is from an old collection!

The March 2016 Fossil of the Month is a GEM light brown colored Megalodon - PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. Highest quality enamel - glass-like with no hydration cracks! A very nice deep brown bourlette - 100% complete. Razor sharp serrations including an excellent tip serration. The serrations are 100% complete! The root is incredible - a medium brown, nicely articulated, and complete with no hydration cracks on the display side. One of the finest preserved Megs that I have seen.
