An ULTRA Rare, TOP QUALITY Parotodus benedeni tooth from Sharktooth Hill, near Bakersfield California. A December 2022 Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a highly desirable light tan enamel and a very massive root. This Parotodus benedeni tooth remains mounted on the original Round Mountain Silt matrix and it is sitting on a chunk of whale bone. The crown enamel has very good luster and very sharp edges. Highest quality enamel! Note -  a small (~1/8") tip repair was professionally done.  A very difficult tooth to locate and an EXCEPTIONAL Collector's tooth! An EXTRA LARGE ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Otodus megalodon tooth from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. An August Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon is a BIG upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. Exceptional rich copper red color. The enamel is the highest quality, and there is a cool bite mark on the display side (see the 5th photo). The serrations are large, razor sharp, and essentially complete with a good tip serration. Bourlette is extra large and brown - dentin layer. The root is wide & complete. A Pliocene Meg tooth. Note - the front center strip of enamel was professionally restored (high point of the tooth only). A rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens hoof core (toe or pes ungual) from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This is a toe hoof core from a massive Edmontosaurus. It is from the center toe - toe III. The largest one that I have seen! The Edmontosaurus was bipedal and had much larger feet relative to hands. Bone quality is excellent. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Dawson Co. Montana. A rare collector's quality Edmontosaurus pes hoof core.  Authenticity guaranteed. An ultra rare GEM QUALITY, Classic Peruvian Megalodon tooth from the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age). A January Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an excellent dark tan colored crown. The bourlette is light tan and 100% complete. The root is a light tan and complete. Incredible color! Highest quality enamel. The bourlette is excellent and 100% complete. The serrations are extra large and razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. Exceptional serrations -100% complete! The root is nicely articulated with a very small hydration crack. A High Quality Edmontosaurus annectens lower jaw section from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. They possessed ~300 teeth that were in columns of five teeth each which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a large chewing surface to cut and grind their food. This specimen is a small section of the lower jaw showing two grooves where the columns of teeth were positioned. Bone quality is very good. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Edmontosaurus jaw section.  Authenticity guaranteed.
