A GEM, 5-1/16" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. Our April 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light golden tan colored crown with an excellent hazel brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional golden tan color! The serrations are razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Nearly PERFECT serrations. Exceptional serrations for a big Meg! The root is an excellent tan color with few no hydration cracks and a "root ear" which is characteristic of the Miocene Megs. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). An excellent classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth considering the shape, color, and preservation. An ultra rare, top quality 5-3/4" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. This tooth was found in the Ernst West quarry. An October Fossil of the Month.  This Megalodon tooth has the highest quality enamel with a great Blue & Tan color. The bourlette is a brown color and nearly complete. The root is nicely articulated and complete. The serrations are complete with a good tip serration - incredible serrations for a large Sharktooth Hill Meg tooth! This is a middle Miocene Meg. Note - the grooves on the root ends and the small root "ears" at the top of the root - a Miocene Meg tooth feature!  Note - a 3/8" enamel section pooped off and was reattached on the right side (1/2" from the root). An ultra rare, Top Quality Classic Red Site Otodus megalodon from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Meg is an excellent upper jaw anterior tooth. NC002 has a rich copper-red color. The enamel is the high quality with good gloss. The serrations are large with a worn tip serration. Bourlette is black and composed of the dentin layer. The root is complete and nicely articulated. Note - you rarely see a copper red colored Megalodon tooth that has a top quality crown and serrations and a complete root - a top tooth from this site! NO repair or restoration. A Very Rare, LARGE Top Quality Rolfodon ludvigseni tooth from Hornby Island, British Columbia, Canada.  This is a new genius of Frill shark from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A unique species of Chlamydoselachiform shark, the Frill shark. These teeth exhibit classic Frill shark design with a central cusp flanked by two lateral cusps. A matrix tooth.
