A GEM Quality, rare Triceratops horridus upper beak (rostal) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A July Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This juvenile upper beak has exceptional detail preserved and great color / patina. Complete specimen. Note - Triceratops has a beak formed by this upper rostal bone and the lower predentary bone. A High Quality Edmontosaurus annectens lower jaw section from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. They possessed ~300 teeth that were in columns of five teeth each which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a large chewing surface to cut and grind their food. This specimen is a small section of the lower jaw showing two grooves where the columns of teeth were positioned. Bone quality is very good. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Edmontosaurus jaw section.  Authenticity guaranteed.

A very rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth. This tooth measures 2-1/4". The enamel has excellent color and patina. Exceptional anterior and excellent posterior serrations. The base cross-section is a tall oval and extra wide. There is one crack and fine vertical hydration cracks were colored for aesthetic reasons. No restoration.
