A rare, Top Quality Brachyceratops montanensis juvenile tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian - Two Medicine Fm.) in northern North America. Brachyceratops is a smaller Campanian ceratopsian currently only kown from juvenile remains.  This tooth measures 5/16" -  an excellent juvenile Brachyceratops tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. No crack, repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Two Medicine Fm., Teton Co., Montana. A Top Quality, Mioplosus  fish from the 18 inch layer. The Mioplosus labracoides is an extinct Perch-like fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA), Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming.  A scarce species. The my last July 2017 Fossil of the Month is a GEM 4-11/16" Megalodon - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. Fantastic colors - gray enamel and a jet black bourlette. Highest quality enamel - glass-like surface. The finest enamel preservation - very rare! An exceptional black bourlette - near complete. Razor sharp serrations including an exceptional tip serration. A rare Peruvian Megalodon tooth the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age). It has an excellent tan colored crown. The serrations are worn. A Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. An October Fossil of the Month. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. This tooth measures 2-3/8" - an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. Anterior serrations and posterior serrations are excellent. Serrated to the tip. Note - the top has some minor planting etching and there is one natural wear facet on the side (very typical for the Campanian Tyrannosaurs). No cracks, repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., McCone Co., Montana. Probably an excellent Gorgosaurus tooth based on size and roundness of the tooth cross-section. A rare Megalodon tooth from Sumatra, Indonesia. This Meg is rooted. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. D001 is the tooth on the left. Authenticity guaranteed.
