An ultra rare, Top Quality pathologic lower jaw lateral Hexanchus tooth - the Sixgill Cow shark, from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. A February Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown with a tan root. Eleven main cusps including the pathologic center cusp (there are a couple small nicks).  Incredible color and preservation. These are Pliocene age, Yorktown Formation teeth. A fantastic collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. Complete Lee Creek Hexanchus teeth are rarely found, and this is the first time that I can offer them! This is a special specimen!

A very rare Edestus heinrichi  shark tooth, from Herrin, Illinois. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamps that our now underground coal deposits. Very good preservation with excellent serrations. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. Shark recreation image is credited to Julio Lacerdo. These rare teeth are Pennsylvanian age from Illinois. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.

An ultra rare, Top Quality Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Ica region of Peru. A July Fossil of the Month. Highest quality enamel. An excellent tan colored crown with clean edges. Excellent color. This is a late Miocene age tooth (6-8 MYA). Please note that there is an ~1/4" wedge restored on inside of the left root end. A desert shark from the deserts of Peru! Authenticity guaranteed. You never see Parotodus benedeni teeth from Peru. One of the rarest Parotodus teeth. This is the first one that I have seen!

A Top Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. A June Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible BLACK tooth with some light gray patternsand an excellent JET BLACK colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is large and 98% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent tip serration. Exceptional serrations. This 6" Megalodon has an excellent red & tan colored tooth with a unique brown colored bourlette with "lightning strikes". High quality enamel. Exceptional color!
