A LARGE, Top Quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Ankylosaurus and Denversaurus, a Nodosaur, were the two Ankylosaurs present in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek Formations.  A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. The bone is excellent quality with excellent color and patina. Well preserved vascular channels. Typical hydrations cracks only. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Garfield Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic collector's quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm.  I do not see large top quality ostederms very often.

A rare TOP QUALITY, Isurus retroflexus tooth, a Longfin Mako, from the Meherrin River, No. Carolina. Lower jaw lateral tooth. Excellent copper red color with exceptional gloss. The root shows very nice detail with the typical distinct enameloid build up on the reverse side. Absolutely great preservation and condition - extra sharp edges and tip - very clean. An exceptional Aetomylaeus sp., an Eagle ray, mouth plate from Caldera area of Chile. An excellent plate of pavement teeth from the lower jaw. The specimen resides on its original phosphorite matrix. This plate has exceptional preservation, fantastic dark red colors, and exceptionally clean. Note - the bottom side of this specimen is covered with matrix.
