A very rare Physeteridae sp., a Sperm whale, tooth from Caldera area of Chile. This is a second much rarer late Miocene Sperm whale tooth found in the Bahia Inglesa Fm. This tooth is similar to the Sperm whale teeth found at the Sharktooth Hill site. I have only seen four teeth. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no teeth coming from this site 19 years!

An ultra rare, Top Quality lower jaw Pathologic Hexanchus tooth - the Sixgill Cow shark, from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This pathologic tooth has a compressed root. This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown with a tan root. Seven main cusps (two have some damage). Incredible color and preservation. These are Miocene age, Pungo River Formation teeth. A near Perfect tooth. A fantastic collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. Eleven main cusps (all complete). Please note that this tooth is from a back up row. and the root is not fully developed.  Incredible color and preservation. An ultra rare, Quality lower jaw lateral Hexanchus tooth - the Sixgill Cow shark, from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown with a brownroot. Ten main cusps (all complete). Yes, the root has cracks on the display side, but the tooth never broke and has been quite sturdy.  Incredible color and preservation. These are Pliocene age, Yorktown Formation teeth. A fantastic collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.
