An EXTRA LARGE, GEM Quality, shark vertabra from the Sharktooth Hill area, near Bakersfield, California. A February Fossil of the Month.Note - Most likely a large Mako shark vertebra and part of an associated pair with ST954. The sides are all clean and fully articulated. The base is the original Round Mountain silt matrix. Excellent preservation and gorgeous color. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A scarce find for Sharktooth Hill, and 2"+ are always very difficult to find. The best Sharktooth Hill vertebra the I have seen. A fantastic display piece!

An Ultra Rare, Hexanchus griseus symphyseal tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This is complete lower jaw symphyseal tooth. A rare male shark. Superb preservation and color. Nine plus very sharp and one primary cusp surrounded by many small pathologic cusps. An excellent complete root. Authenticity guaranteed. Museum Quality collector's tooth. Unfortunately there are no more teeth coming from this site. This is a piece from an old collection.

Our October Fossil of the Month (FOTM) is an incredible TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE Megalodon upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth from a So. Carolina. A fantastic gray colored crown. Highest quality enamel. The bourlette is black and 80% complete. The serrations are razor sharp with a large tip serration. Exceptional serrations for a big Meg. The root is complete, extra wide (4-3/4" W), and a nice dark browncolor. Excellent symmetry. This is an excellent big Meg. Weighs 1.25 lb. 100% natural. NO repair! A GEM Quality Aetomylaeus sp., an Eagle ray, mouth plate from Caldera area of Chile. An excellent plate of pavement teeth from the upper jaw. The specimen resides on its orinigal matrix. This plate has exceptional preservation, fantastic deep red colors, and exceptionally clean. Note - the bottom side of this specimen is mostly matrix covered with a large whale bone is exposed. An incredible late Miocene Eagle ray mouth plate from the Bahia Inglesa Fm.  Museum Quality. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no more teeth coming from this site.  A great display piece!
