An EXTRA LARGE, GEM Nanotyrannus lancensis tooth. A February Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 2-1/8" (straight line). This BIG Nano tooth is extra wide and thick. Much like a small Rex, but has a basic Nano design. The enamel is excellent with excellent color and quality. Excellent serrations and tip. No cracks. No repair. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is large. The bourlette is 50% complete, but looks very nice with the dentin layer being the same color. Great color! The serrations are razor sharp with a slightly damaged tip serration. Only 4 serrations show minor damage. Great serrations for a BIG Meg. The root is complete with a few shallow pitting which is common for the West Java Megs. Miocene Age. No repair or restoration. Authenticity Guaranteed. An excellent BIG Meg collector's tooth.
