An Extra Large, GEM Hexanchus tooth. This is complete lower jaw tooth from an adult shark. Superb preservation and color. Absolutely matrix free. Thirteen very sharp, complete primary cusps. A fantastic root - very unique & difficult to find! Perfect tooth. A really big tooth. Another one of my favorites! A Museum Quality collector's tooth.                  

C401L          Size: 1-13/16"

An EXTRA LARGE, Paraspirifer bownockeri brachiopod from the Silica Shale Fm., Sylvania, Ohio. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs, and this is a big one. Both valves present  - complete specimen and matrix free. Note -  1-1/4" thick and heavy! This is a Devonian (395 mya) brachiopod. The big Silica Fm. brachiopod. Authenticity guaranteed. My largest Paraspirifer specimen!

Y001        SIZE: 2-1/4"  (1-1/4" Thick)

A rare, EXTRA LARGE, GEM Quality Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. A February Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". A fantastic manus claw. This is 1st manus claw which is largest and most robust; often referred as the "thumb". Excellent rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible preservation - no pitting, nicks or wear. All surfaces are fantasic - very rare. Note - a small tip area was professionally restored which is typical for most Hell Creek claws. The repair is quite small with the repaired area being 5 mm on the right facing side of the tip. On the left facing side of tip, it is 1-2 mm. This is top quality, collector's claw from the Hell Creek of Montana. Note - 2014 Anzu wyliei description paper attached below. Check out our selection of top quality Anzu wyleii claws! Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana.
