An ULTRA RARE Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis skull section from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A February Fossil of the Month. This is a post orbital skull section covered with 12+ spikes. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. This skull section has exceptional color and patina. Note the incredible blood grooves in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. Legally collected on private land in the Lance Creek Fm., Niobrara Co., Wyoming. An Ultra Rare, LARGE Top Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Meg teeth to locate. This "Bakersfield white" tooth was found in Ernst "whale quarry". Highest quality enamel with a great light tan color. The bourlette is a white color and mostly dentin layer. The serrations are extra large and 100% complete with a great tip. The root is nicely articulated and complete. Also note the grooves on the root ends - a Miocene trait. A rare Top Quality, BIG CLASSIC Chile Megalodon tooth from the phosphate layer, Bahia Inglesa Fm., Caldera area, Chile. This tooth is nicely displayed on its original phosphorite matrix. Note - the pebbly phosphorite makes an interesting base which elevates the tip about 15 degress for a great display. A gorgeous light tan colored crown with no enamel peel. High quality enamel with very light mineral staining (as shown). The bourlette is an excellent deep mahogany brown color, large and 85% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent tip serration.
