A Top Quality Carya sp., a petrified Hickory wood limb section display, from McDermitt, Oregon. This petrified wood is from the Trent Fm and is Miocene age (20 MYA). A natural fossil wood section with one end polished. Limb section thickness is 1-1/2" and makes an excellent display with a well defined wood grain and a craggy crescent shape. This Megalodon has an excellent tan & blue with orange colored tooth with an excellent dark brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color!  The bourlette is large and 95% complete. An EXTRA LARGE, rare TOP QUALITY, Great White shark transition tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli. An upper jaw anterior tooth on its original phosphorite matrix. This C. hubbelli tooth has medium to small serrations at the base of the cutting edge that disappear towards the tip. This tooth has an excellent tan colored crown and tan root. Fantastic color!  No repair or restoration. A TOP QUALITY, ~6" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. Our June 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible golden tan colored crown with an exceptional mahogany brown bourlette - essentially complete with two toned color. Highest quality enamel.
