A Top Quality Eurypterus lacustris, the "Sea Scorpion", from Buffalo, New York. A November Fossil of the Month. This is a spooky looking arthropod that are related to arachnids, such as, the Horseshoe crab. It was found in the Williamsville Fm., Bertie Group of western New York and it is Silurian age (430 mya). A complete specimen that is nicely displayed on shale matirx. A VERY RARE rooted, High QualityTyrannosaurus rex tooth. This is an excellent rooted juvenile T-Rex rear tooth. Total length is is 2-1/4", the crown measures 3/4" and is thick 11/16". The rooted T-Rex  teeth are very rare. The enamel is good quality with some peeling. Fair anterior and posterior serrations with some wear. No cracks. T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. See the detailed description to determine how to tell a real T-Rex tooth! Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Garfield Co., Montana.

A very rare, Otodus aksuaticus tooth from the copper-red site of No. Carolina. The crown has coarse serrations over the lower 2/3 of crown that disappear in the top 1/3 of crown. The side cusps are typical of the Otodus obliquus. Complete root. Early Eocene - Ypresian age. A very rare collector's tooth. Very few Otodus aksuaticus teeth found at this site!

A LARGE, Top Quality Hexanchus griseus tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. Fantastic blue color with a red root. This is complete lower jaw tooth from a large shark. Superb preservation and color. Eight primary cusps. An excellent root which is very unique & extremely difficult to find! A Perfect rare collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. An ultra rare, Top Quality EXTRA LARGE Edestus heinrichi shark whorl section with 3 big crowns, from Herrin, Illinois. An April Fossil of the Month. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamps that our now underground coal deposits. Excellent preservation and serrations. Note - extra long root whorl section with 3 extra large crowns - very rare. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. Shark recreation image is credited to Julio Lacerdo. These rare teeth are Pennsylvanian age from Illinois. Note - Two crown tips were professionally retored. Authenticity guaranteed. Three crown whorl sections are rare!
