A very rare, LARGE Megalodon tooth from New Caledonia. These Megalodon teeth are dredged from the New Caledonia area between Fiji and Australia. The deposit covers about 5 square miles and the water is about 1,000 feet deep. All dredging has stopped and tooth supply has stopped. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible light tan color. A LARGE Auriculatus tooth. Lateral tooth. Fair quality enamel. Serrations are sharp. The tip area was broke during feeding and is worn smooth. This shark was eating some tough whales as well. Slightly water worn. Typical commercial grade tooth.
