An ultra rare, Top Quality Ankylosaurus magniventris rooted tooth from the late Cretaceous of North America. A June Fossil of the Month. Ankylosaurus magniventris was the largest Ankylosaur which grew to 30 feet and 17000 pounds. Note - These incredibly sized dinosaurs had small teeth and this rooted tooth is from a juvenile Ankylosaurus. The enamel is the highest quality with excellent color / patina. A Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. An October Fossil of the Month. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. This tooth measures 2-3/8" - an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. Anterior serrations and posterior serrations are excellent. Serrated to the tip. Note - the top has some minor planting etching and there is one natural wear facet on the side (very typical for the Campanian Tyrannosaurs). No cracks, repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., McCone Co., Montana. Probably an excellent Gorgosaurus tooth based on size and roundness of the tooth cross-section. A GEM, 4-7/8"+" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. This Meg has an incredible light tan and blue colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel - complete! Exceptional color! The bourlette is excellent and complete! The serrations are large and razor sharp - perfect. An excellent tip serration. Exceptional serrations for a big Meg! The root is an excellent tan color and absolutely complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 15 MYA). A Top Quality, rare Triceratops horridus epijugal (jugal spike) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for the large frill protecting its neck. Triceratops had a spike on its cheek which is called the jugal "spike" (see photo). This jugal spike has exceptional detail preserved and great color / patina. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull.
