An EXTRA LARGE, very rare Desmostylus tooth from Sharktooth Hill with a large root structure! The extra large chewing surface is incredibly preserved. This is an incredibly sized, complete tooth.  Excellent preservation and gorgeous color. Museum Quality specimen!

An ultra rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth - a large Rex tooth with a partial root (not a shed tooth). An August Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 2-3/4".  The enamel has exceptional color and patina. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. The serrations are large and wrap around the tip. This tooth was recently erupted and had no tip wear. No hydration cracks or breaks. Note - the root section is 1-1/4"+ and with a wall that is nearly 1/4" thick. Not likely a shed tooth breaking that deep below the gum line. 100% natural tooth. A top quality tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. An ultra rare, 4" GEM North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon - upper jaw tooth from the copper-red site. It has an exceptional copper-red colored crown with an exceptional dark brown bourlette - 100% complete. Razor sharp serrations with a needle-like tip serration. The root is complete and very nicely articulated. Note - you rarely see a copper-red Meg that has a top quality crown, bourlette, root and, serrations - a top 1% tooth from this site! A GEM quality Chubutensis tooth - an upper jaw anterior tooth from So. Carolina. Otodus chubutensis or Chubutensis is the extinct ancestor of the Megalodon shark. An August Fossil of the Month. An incredible blue & tan colored crown. Top quality enamel. The brown bourlette is large and complete. Sharp serrations are near complete (only 2 partially damaged) and an excellent tip serration. The root is brown colored and complete with no hydration cracks. This stocky Rex crown measures 3-5/8" (straight line) and is thick for its size (1-1/4"). The enamel is highest quality. Great rich dark chocolate brown and black color. An Ultra Rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth. Another August 2018 Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 4-1/2" (straightline) and is thick (1-9/16") - a massive Rex tooth. The enamel is very high quality and a rich dark brown color. Good posterior and anterior serrations with a small amount of natural tip wear. An extra wide base. This is a big and heavy tooth. Note - this tooth was cracked in a freeze cycle as evidenced by the cracks in the top half of the tooth. The preparator did a exceptional job prepping this tooth and it is rock solid now. A small area of the cutting edge was rebuilt about midway on both the anterior and posterior sides (see final photo). Excellent overall condition for a big Rex tooth.
