An ultra rare, Auriculatus upper jaw, parasymphyseal tooth from Kazakhstan. The parasymphyseal is very rare since this tooth is not lost during feeding. There are not many of these teeth in the fossil record. The brown bourlette is incredible - 100% complete! The fine serrations are complete with a killer side cusp. A "Flying" TOP QUALITY Walliserops trifurcatus trilobite, the "trident Comura".  A November Fossil of the Month and one of the collector's favorite spiny trilobites. Walliserops trifurcatus is an unusual looking species with three rows of of spines run down its back and a trident-like fork extending from the front of the cephalon. The preparation is German controlled with all original colors and no restoration. Exceptional completeness and preservation. Great natural black shell with excellent luster. The bottom of this trilobite has been cleaned out and it sits on an 1" matrix pedestal. A very difficult species to prepare. Excellent shell and spine preservation. Compound eyes are very good. A GEM QUALITY Chubutensis tooth from the Ica area of Peru - an upper jaw tooth. An August Fossil of the Month. An excellent dark tan colored crown with no peel. Highest quality enamel.
