A rare, TOP QUALITY Megatherium americanum sloth claw from an extinct genus of giant ground sloths from the Pampean region, Uruguay. A March Fossil of the Month. Megatherium is from the family of the largest Ground sloths. This claw has excellent preservation. It is complete down to an excellent tip with essentially no restoration or repair. There appears to be a 1.5” area of the top of the sheath rim on the back side that may have minor restoration (see photo - a small area). Excellent preservation of the proximal end. An incredible massive Late Pliocene - Early Pleistocene display piece from Uruguay. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic Pleistocene giant ground sloth claw specimen. A rare Museum Quality specimen from a rare site. One of my favorites! Comes with a steel stand.

 Exceptionally large, GEM lateral teeth. These are the largest C. appendiculata teeth that I have ever seen!  These anterior teeth are really difficult to find.  Rare!

This cone is extra large and shows great exterior detail and a large stem (rare). A GEM quality, light green colored Megalodon tooth from Georgia. Another March 2018 Fossil of the Month. The enamel is the Highest Quality; glass-like with no hydration cracks! An exceptional black bourlette - 100% complete. Razor sharp serrations including an excellent tip serration. The serrations are 100% complete! The root is incredible - a medium brown, nicely articulated, and complete with no hydration cracks. One of the finest preserved Megs that I have seen. An exceptional collector's Megalodon tooth from Georgia. The PERFECT Megalodon tooth. I rarely see a perefect tooth! Authenticity guaranteed. BEST of the BEST!
