An EXTRA LARGE, rare Top Quality Camarasaurus tooth, a late Jurassic sauropod tooth from the Morrison Fm. A September Fossil of the Month. Camarasaurus had robust spoon shaped teeth to tear tough vegetation. This tooth is complete with incredible surfaces. The enamel is highest quality. Great rich black color. Exceptional enamel articulation. There was a small repair at the base of the root only. No repair or restoration to the crown. An ultra rare, GEM Quality Torvosaurus tanneri tooth from the Morrison Formation. A September Fossil of the Month. This completeTorvosaurus crown measures 1-516". The enamel is highest quality. Excellent rich green -brown color. Exceptional posterior and anterior serrations. Note - the anterior carina end about 1/2 of the way down from the tip. The diagnostic for a Torvosaurus tooth. Fantastic overall enamel condition and serrations. No repair or restoration. Torvosaurus was a large predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. Excellent preservation, serrations, and serration detail. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion or a vertical whipping motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. An Ultra Rare Pappocetus lugardi (Andrews, 1920) canine tooth from Morocco. Pappocetus was in the Protocetidae family of ancient whales . Note - this tooth is a canine with a large natural wear facet. This material is a new find and represents one of the earliest transition forms of the whale. Pappocetus is a protocetid (see discussion below) and a large amphibious aquatic carnivore. Pappocetus is also an ancestor of the Basilosaurus. This material is complete and without repair. A Devonian sea floor slab with a Eldredgops (Phacops) rana milleri trilobite from the Silica Shale Formation of Ohio. The also three large pyrite replaced Paraspirifer bownockeri brachiopods, three Mucrospirifer mucronatus brachiopods, and other specimens. The Eldredgops has excellent detail on the compound eyes - very well preserved. The quality of the Silica Shale Fm. fossils are incredible. A Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia - an upper jaw anterior tooth. The crown has excellent unique two-tone tan color. The enamel is the Highest Quality with small hydration cracks. A Large Brown colored bourlette which is  complete. Extra large, razor sharp serrations including an excellent tip serration. The root is a dark tan color, nicely articulated, robust, and complete. This tooth is exhibits large serrations and small grooves on the root ends.
