An Ultra Rare, Top Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth from Pyramid Hill, Kern County, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. A February Fossil of the Month. Highest quality enamel with a great brown and charcoal colors. The bourlette is a tan color and is nearly complete. The serrations are extra large & sharp and complete with a big tip serration. The root is nicely articulated and complete. Note the large grooves on the root ends - an early Miocene trait. An ultra rare, TOP QUALITY Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site.  A June Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an excellent red-brown colored crown and an incredible orange colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! The bourlette is huge and 100% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and 100% complete with an excellent tip serration. Exceptional serrations for a BIG Meg tooth. An ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Carcharocles megalodon posterior tooth from the Pamunkey River, Virginia. A fantastic copper-red color. Great color! The enamel is the highest quality with hydration cracks. The serrations are sharp and complete with a great tip serration. Bourlette is dark brown and mostly dentin layer. The root is complete. Definitely a Miocene Meg with serration bumps at base. Note - you rarely see a copper red colored Megalodon tooth that has a top quality crown and serrations and a complete root. No repair or restoration. A RARE, TOP QUALITY Prognathodon curri tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. This is one of the rare Moroccan mosasaur species. This specimen is massive with round crown and a wide cross-section. An ultra rare, Top Quality Edestus heinrichi associted pair of whorls, from Herrin, Illinois. A July Fossil of the Month. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamps that our now underground coal deposits. An ultra rare assoiiated pair of tooth whorls. Note - the crown tips are naturally rounded (polished)  which thought to be due to wear from the vertical whipping motion used to slice prey. Excellent preservation, serrations, and serration detail. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion or a vertical whipping motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. Shark recreation image is credited to Julio Lacerdo. These rare teeth are Pennsylvanian age from Illinois. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. This is the first associated whorl pait that I have seen.

A GEM Otodus with a severely distorted cutting edge - what I refer to as the "acid" effect. The entire top of the crown is split into multiple cusps that are melting away -  a very unusual pathology. Incredible color and preservation. Museum quality.Perfect tooth.

A rare, Top Quality Ankylosaurus magniventris partially rooted tooth from the late Cretaceous of North America. Ankylosaurus magniventris was the largest Ankylosaur which grew to 30 feet and 17000 pounds. A rare Mako shark tooth from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth appear to be juvenile Isurus desori teeth (narrow crown) and are scarce in the Sumatran deposit. They were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. D051 is the upper jaw tooth on the left. Authenticity guaranteed.
