A rare Mako shark tooth from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth appear to be juvenile Isurus desori teeth (narrow crown) and are scarce in the Sumatran deposit. They were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. D052 is the upper jaw tooth on the right. Authenticity guaranteed.

A very rare, Top Quality Ceratopsian toe from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. There were three ceratopsian dinosaur species found in the Horseshoe Canyon formation. This is an excellent four piece non-associated juvenile ceratopsian toe. The bones have great preservation and color / patina. Complete specimens with minor crack fill. No restoration. A very rare, early Otodus aksuaticus anterior tooth from Kzil-Orda, Kazakhstan. A transitional tooth leading to O. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below) which leads to Megalodon. The bourlette is complete. This tooth exhibits small serrations along the lower 1/2 of the crown and micro serrations to the tip. These teeth exhibit excellent color, gloss, and preservation. A rare, early (Ypresian) Eocene Auriculatus transition tooth.  A very challenging tooth to find when building a Megalodon evolutionary set! No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. This western Kazakhstan site is one of the few places in the world where the Otodus obliquus to Otodus auriculatus transition can be found in adjacent geologic layers.

An Ultra Rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth. Another August 2018 Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 4-1/2" (straightline) and is thick (1-9/16") - a massive Rex tooth. The enamel is very high quality and a rich dark brown color. Good posterior and anterior serrations with a small amount of natural tip wear. An extra wide base. This is a big and heavy tooth. Note - this tooth was cracked in a freeze cycle as evidenced by the cracks in the top half of the tooth. The preparator did a exceptional job prepping this tooth and it is rock solid now. A small area of the cutting edge was rebuilt about midway on both the anterior and posterior sides (see final photo). Excellent overall condition for a big Rex tooth.
