A Top Quality Ptychodus mortoni, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. A November Fossil of the Month. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design includes a high cusp with radiating occlusal ridges extending across the cusp face. Authenticity guaranteed. Not perfect tooth - tooth was cracked in half when found. P. mortoni is a rare rare species in Texas, and when teeth get this large they are extremely rare! An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Leptostyrax macrorhiza, an extinct Mackerel shark, tooth from Tarrant Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Lower Cretaceous Paw Paw Fm. shark. This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown with a tan root. Seven main cusps (two have some damage). Incredible color and preservation. A rare, Top Quality Otodus obliquus shark tooth, the extinct Mackerel shark, from the Muddy Creek, Virginia. Nice tan color. Excellent preservation and condition. An early Eocene tooth. These teeth are not commonly found and seen. A rare collectors' tooth in high quality condition. Try finding one of these teeth! Authenticity guaranteed. This is the largest US Otodus obliquus tooth that I have seen. Quite rare.

A rare, Otodus sokolovi tooth from the desert of Fayum Depression, Birket-le-Qurun, Egypt. Very good condition and preservation. No repair or restoration. Complete tooth with some root pitting. This tooth was found in the Qsar-el-Sagha Fm., and is late Eocene age (38-42 MYA). Authenticity guaranteed. I have never seen an Otodus sokolovi tooth from Egypt. A rare collectors teeth.
