An ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Otodus (Carcharocles) megalodon tooth from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Meg is an upper jaw tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. NC010 has an excellent copper red color. The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are large with a worn tip serration. Bourlette is dark brown and complete. The root is complete. A very rare Isurus praecursor dentition. There are 60 teeth total (26 uppers and 24 lowers). Teeth range from 1-9/16" to 1". All teeth are top quality or near top quality condition. You will not see a set of teeth from Isurus praecursor very often.
