An ultra rare, Top Quality Trierarchuncus prairiensis, an Alvarezsaurid dinosaur, hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. Trierarchuncus prairiensis means the "Captian Hook" since they possessed a single claw on each arm. An excellent manus claw with rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible preservation - no pitting, nicks or wear. All surfaces are excellent - rare. Note - this claw is missing some of the proximal. A rare, Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. Another June 2018 Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An exceptional manus claw. Highest quality rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible perservation with exceptional surfaces - no pitting, nicks or wear - superb surface articulation! There is some professional restoration which is typical for a big Anzu wyliei manus claw. The tip has a small section repaired and the proximal edge has a small triangular area repaired which starts at the center of proximal surface (see photo). An ulta rare Top Quality Struthiomimus altus hand (manus) claw from the late Cretaceous of North America. Struthiomimus is a long legged, bipedal, toothless dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" which best describes this species. Excellent bone quality and color. The claw has some proximal end and the very tip is missing which is common. Excellent bone preservation. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Garfield Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Struthiomimus manus claw bone.  Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic juvenile claw. You don't see the hand claws very often!

A TOP QUALITY, Lee Creek Otodus chubutensis, a O. megalodon predecessor, from Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth was found in the Pungo River Formation (middle Miocene age). Note the crown exhibits cusplike bumps at the base of the serrated edge and the root ends also show grooves where the teeth interlocked. These are characteristic traits of the Lee Creek early Meg - Otodus chubutensis. A gorgeous blue & tan colored crown with a brown bourlette. Great serrations. The root is brown colored with a couple of small dings. Highest quality enamel! Fantastic color! No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.
